We had an exceptional stay at Lindos Village Resort and Spa. The location is absolutely stunning, perched on the hillside with breathtaking views of the sea. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway for two. The staff was lovely from beginning to end: always smiling, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a beautiful terrace. We especially appreciated the quality of the food, varied, well-presented, and delicious. A true little paradise that we wholeheartedly recommend for a romantic escape or a well-deserved break. A big thank you to the entire hotel team for making our stay so memorable!

The service is what made this place. They were really attentive and friendly, couldn’t have expected better! The complementary wine was also a nice touch. Great views and handy with having a beach so close. In terms of food, the breakfast and the fine dining restaurant were good and couldn’t fault it. However, the hotel is in desperate need of some TLC. The room did not look as we expected. The bathroom was falling apart (issues with plumbing, tap handle loose and tiles were falling off). We had cockroaches in our room, and although we understand they are difficult to remove, finding two in your bed is less than ideal… (other people staying had same issue with cockroaches so it wasn’t just us). We also didn’t have a lot of the basic facilities in our room, like a kettle, shower cap and would have been good to have a steamer for clothes (understand an iron if fire hazard but need something quick for creases). I am surprised this is a five star hotel, as it feels like it needs some renovations to bring it up to scratch. It also wasn’t cheap so expected more.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel. The building is packed with stairs and no real solution for guests who don’t want to show up dripping with sweat to breakfast. At breakfast, you can only fill one small cup at a time (even if you’re a pregnant woman who just climbed 50 steps and simply wants to fill your bottle). Coffee is a luxury here – the water was salty and tasted just like the sea. Our rooms were placed, as the receptionist described, ‘not too close, not too far’. In reality, this meant a sweaty 10-minute walk between family members, even though we asked to be next to each other. When we were finally moved, the new rooms were in terrible condition: poorly maintained, no towel racks, rusty fixtures, a dirty shower with mildew, damp walls, and visible mold. Eventually, part of the ceiling even started to crumble on us due to moisture. We tried to stay out of the rooms as much as possible, but it was difficult with the constant sewage smell and flowing waste water outside, stagnant puddles that attracted an unbelievable number of mosquitoes, and broken outdoor tiles that were unsafe to walk on. Reception was unhelpful, the compensation was inadequate, and overall the experience was terrible. We will not return, and our clear advice is: don’t go there.

Good hotel with good offerings to its guests. The staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful. Good breakfast buffet and a good pool area. The rooms however could be better. As a 5-star facility, I was expecting the rooms to be of a better technical standard. Things like broken doorhandles and leaking and overflowing showers should be easy fixes... but it seems it is only patched, not fixed as it should be. The hotel is located about 50 minutes from Rhodes town and about 15 minutes from Lindos town. Very central and good spot for further exploration of the island. All-in-all had a good stay with just some hiccups during our first 3 nights.
